HYDROKOAT 6 AND 16: OFFICIALLY EFFECTIVE AGAINST TERMITES AND POWDER-POST BEETLES

On 7 July 2020, the ANSES (French environmental safety agency) officially re-authorised the use of HYDROKOAT, our treatment against termites and powder-post beetles for timber used for class 2.

Due to a difference in our interpretation of the European standard EN NF 599 from that of the ANSES, we were required to carry out further anti-termite tests. HYDROKOAT had already been approved by the FCBA (the French certifying body for timber) as an effective treatment against termites and powder-post beetles with CTB-P+ certification (timber treatment certification)

Further to tests in line with the European standard EN 118, the findings were submitted to the ANSES. We are proud to announce that the agency has now officially approved our product as an effective treatment against termites and powder-post beetles. The CTB-P+ certification has been updated to this effect
