REMACYP
REMACYP is an insecticide concentrate that protects logs, PLOTS and freshly converted timber from attack from scolytinae – bark beetle, weevil, and other insects – in logging areas and timber yards. REMACYP also provides preventive insecticide treatment for logs and converted timber in storage and eradicates infestations of woodworm, long-horned beetle, and more.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Pour the necessary quantity of water into a suitably-sized container
Add REMACYP to the water and stir vigorously
Spray the REMACYP solution onto all the surfaces of the wood using a low pressure spray (e.g. a spray for horticulture).
Pay particular attention to vulnerable areas in the log, such as the sapwood.
PREVENTIVE TREATMENT
Treat the wood directly after sawing when possible. If the wood is stored for more than 6 months, renew the treatment by spraying the wood once a year before spring.
CURATIVE TREATMENT
As a rule, treating wood to prevent insect infestation or fungal decay is more effective and a better guarantee of satisfactory results than treating wood once it has been infested. We strongly advise the use of REMACYP as a preventive treatment.
However, REMACYP can block recent attack from scolytinae, for example, if it is applied before the larvae have had time to bore deep into the wood. Apply copiously to the surface of the wood that has been affected.
