KOATGRUME
TROPICAL WOOD TREATMENT FOR LOGS AND FRESHLY CONVERTED TIMBER
KOATGRUME is a dual purpose insecticide/fungicide concentrate which is diluted with a petroleum solvent. KOATGRUME provides logs and freshly converted timber with temporary protection from wood-boring insects and blue stain fungi.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Treat the wood directly after sawing
Either dip the wood in KOATGRUME for 3-5 minutes or spray the wood with KOATGRUME using a low-pressure spray, (e.g. one used for horticulture). Make sure to spray the entire surface area of the wood
TIPS
Stack the logs and freshly converted timbers using pre-treated planks to separate each layer so that KOATGRUME can easily penetrate the wood
Do not stack the logs and freshly converted timbers tightly either during treatment or during storage
Make sure the logs and freshly converted timbers can dry properly after treatment.
Leave the logs and freshly converted timbers to season until the level of moisture content falls below 22%. This happens automatically when their entire surface area is properly aired. Proper ventilation is crucial for a satisfactory result.
