MICROKOAT II PANNELS
PRESERVATIVE FOR ENGINEERED WOOD PANELS
MICROKOAT is an insecticide microemulsion concentrate formulated to protect engineered wood panels – OSB, plywood, particle boards, MDF – from termites, wood-boring insects and larvae.

DESCRIPTION
MICROKOAT has been developed to provide engineered wood panels with a protective insecticide that is also highly compatible with the binders (MUF, PMDI etc.) used for their manufacturing. MICROKOAT can be used for manufacturing wall sheathing for houses with structural timber frameworks, as per the French construction sector’s standardised technical documents of (D.T.U. 31.2).
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
MICROKOAT can either be sprayed onto the surface of the wood before manufacturing at a rate of 200 g/m2, or mixed directly into the binder.

MICROKOAT complies with the following standards:
Preventive insecticide:
EN 46: Determination of the preventive action against recently hatched larvae of Hylotrupes bajulus (Linnaeus).
Termiticide:
EN 118: Determination of preventive action against Reticulitermes species (European termites)
Durability:
The long-term effectiveness of the insecticides was tested further to the following accelerated ageing procedures:

EN 84: Leaching procedure
